Limewire closes down 5 secs after statup
 

I have win 2000 and a recently installed limewire that has been working fine for a few days. But now it closes down a few seconds after I have started it... so I am about to deinstall it since I can't use it. If you have solution, please email tkga2000@hotmail.com

and now deinstallation does not work either
 

it starts the deinstallation process but stops again after about two seconds...

As it was working before, it's very strange.
Perhaps you caught something nasty when you were on the net.

Try running 'Adaware' to see if you have any unwelcome visitors.

After I first d/l Adaware, I ran it and found 12 nasty things lurking in the undergrowth.

Give it a try :)
