Talking Java runtime & Limewire

Hey..
for all of you having problems with limewire booting up...

If it doesn't boot up and you have javaw.exe in your tasklist.
Then that means your java runtime version needs to be either reinstalled or updated. Remember, limewire depends on that program to be working properly, in order to work properly itself.

go to www.java.sun.com and download the latest version available and install it. All versions of limewire installed should work properly after that

Ya'll have fun downloading
and good work limewire

Unhappy

Having the same problem, also running XP. Worked great until the last LW version upgrade (I use Pro). Installed the latest Java Runtime (1.4) from Sun, still no dice. Thinking about un/reinstalling LW. Here's a snippet of my error:

java.util.MissingResourceException: Can't find resource for bundle java.util.PropertyResourceBundle, key STATS_CONNECTION_TITLE
at java.util.ResourceBundle.getObject(Unknown Source)
at java.util.ResourceBundle.getString(Unknown Source)

I seem to remember someone saying that LW will not run properly with Java 1.4. Try if you can to get 1.3.
