Lord of the Rings has a distinguished reputation

Ignore the message on the front window when you first open the program after installing. The main window previously connected to the LW site but it can no longer, so gives an erroronomous message about connection.

If the connection bars bottom left corner are blue then all is good.

Otherwise you may need a fresh connection file. Get the connectfix installer from here http://www.gnutellaforums.com/connec...t-connect.html

BTW it is possible to download whilst not connected to the network. A little known fact.

(LW tries to download from the previously known hosts, so becomes a direct connection to them.)
