Default Wireshare wont start in Linux Mint

Used to work fine but wont start now, gives error about possibly using wrong version of java but i have installed 1.8 and newer with same results, this is on newest version of linux mint leia, any help would be appreciated...

Which version of WireShare are you using?

I deleted the downloads.dat file and got it to work

That's good news. I had the same message given about a java version, so I just reloaded Wireshare over again and it took away the problem.

Does Ubuntu 18.whatever Ubuntu or clone versions have known WireShare problems? The Zorin version 15.3 Core is a Ubuntu clone, where do you go to get more technical info on the structuring of WireShare files that are critical when security requires hiding them?
