Is there a way to find out if someone is looking at your library list and to know how to turn that viewing off and on using 4.9? Anybody know?

You are only sharing what's in your LimeWire (LW) Library. To confirm what you're sharing go to LW's menu bar, Tools -> Options -> Sharing. That will list the folders you are sharing & where you can add or remove.

To see if anybody has seen particular files, go to LW's Library window, select one of your shared folders, look to the right columns labelled "Hits", as that will show you which files & how many times have been found in people's searches even if they were not specifically looking for that particular file.

Thanks for replying though I didn't emplain well.

What I meant was, when you right click on a person whose uploading from you, you get something come up (can't think what, view something i think) and then you can see what's in their library. But i've noticed that this doesn't happen on everyone's as it looks like you can switch it off and on.

Browse option. Yes but the browse option was introduced long ago & its code is very old & never been updated, so it's unreliable. So don't rely upon it to see that other people are sharing because ability to browse depends on having chat enabled (they might not have it enabled) & having free upload/downld slots & bandwidth.
