Default Search Field

Hi, I'm a new user and have typed in that I would like to search for Audio files only, entered the track title and pressed search, the counter with the song title turns blue as it progresses but when it reaches the end nothing happens!

What's going on? Am I doing something wrong?

I'm not really following what you're saying. You have to click on searchresult and press download or double-click the searchresult to get it to download.

If that's not what you mean then it's probably a licence issue.

(1) Revert Popups to Default : Go to LW's menu bar, Tools>Options>View>Popups & click revert to default.

(2) Go to LW's menu bar, Tools>Options>Searching>Basic & decide whether to tick or untick "Show License Warning" (this is a setting you should do when 1st setting up.)

Yeah, it's not exactly a download problem...yet!

I've typed in a song title and pressed search but the status bar that shows the progress of the search takes about a minute or two fill up but just before it reaches the end it stops and nothing happens!

There are basically no search results to download!

I have Limewire at work and it works fine there.

I've also got the latest version and latest version of Java, still no luck

Help, it's doing my head in now, just wanna get on!

Thanks

Hmm it sounds suspiciously like your ISP is filtering LW. Try an experiment by trying to downld a magnet link from here: http://www.magnetmix.com/video.shtml
Tell us if you are actually able to downld it & what speed & downld status it gives.
