Default please help, LimeWire will create an icon on my desktop but i can open that icon?
re basic limewire

Hi ,

I cant seem to get up and going on limewire..It did work on my new laptop but for some reason it just wont now..I took it off and re-installed it loads of times.It will create an icon on my desktop but i can open that icon ?
Tghere must be something on my computer stopping limewire but i can't see what?

You could try removing your old Java & reinstall with the offline installer here
http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

Now reinstall LW using it's offline installer
http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml

If you're running an antispyware app, make sure that LW is on the list of exceptions/allowed apps. Some antispy things will see LW as a threat (it's not!).
