Default Newbie Question...warning may be stupid

After I download a song, where does it go?? I've tried to play them on my Windows Media player and can't get them to come up there. Do I have to play them from Limewire (is that even posible?)

They go to your shared folder on your hard drive...You can drag and drop them into WMP to play them and burn them....

Yes you can play songs from LW by going to your Saved folder IN LW. I don't know what you have it set to but you can disable and able the LW player which is not very good so WMP is your best option.

where ever you set it to. when you downloaded limewire you should've selected a folder for your downloads to go. default is your shared folder, yeah. so just go to limewire preferences, and find it and copy it. click on start, go to run, and paste it in there then hit ok and it should take yo uto all the songs you have downloaded.

If you say download a mp3 when it downloads it go's to a shared folder so other people can download it the more people have it the quicker it downloads plus if one person has that mp3 and are off line you have to wait till there on line so you click on librar and audio and it shows the mp3 let's say pink floyd - the wall then you click on the explore item in the limewire box to the right under the list on the left hand side and it will show a list of stuff you have downloaded then what i do is right click go send to and send it to my documents [my music or my recived files] and when i am not on Limewire i can play it or burn it or put it on my i-pod without having to turn on limewire simply by right clicking and pressing whatever button you have [add to burn list ect] i play in winamp on mine cos i have pro.If your downloading anything like videos and esspecially programmes check it with anti-virus first by right clicking before you move it anywhere.Hope thats a help?.
