Hi, Have just loaded limewire basic and cannot seem to be able to preview songs. I have tried ticking the box with the limewire player, and tried it without. Whenever I double click on the song the only option I get is to download it? HELP !!!! I've also never posted a note on a forum before so hopefully this is in the right place !

First you have to start downloading the file. After around 5 - 10 % you can try to preview the file choosing it from your download window (below the search window).

Thanks for your response. There must be a way to preview prior to downloading. I have a limited download limit and don't want to half download songs before I can listen to them. There are often so many versions of the same song it would be good to be able to hear them first. Do you have to upgrade to the paid version maybe to be able to do this?

Unless you have just invented a way to preview the file before starting to download, unfortunately, there ain't one.
