Limewire won't stay shut down.
 

I close limewire, and it starts back up 4 seconds later.


It's not good, this program bogs down my computer a lot. And whenever I uninstall it it just has an error message that pops up every 4 seconds. :mad:

hey it sounds like u got a virus pal. Sorry. but i had the same problem and i fixed it . YEAHHH. ok now this is what you need to do.

1. first, go to my computer
2. then go to drive c
3. go to WINDOWS
4. go to system32
5. go down all the way until you see taskmgr.exe
6. right click and copy it
7. now go to your desktop and paste to see taskmgr.exe
8. open it and you should now have the task manager back
9. go to installer in the applications tab(this is where the virus is installing itself)
10. click end task, exit limewire, exit task manager, put the taskmgr.exe from the DESKTOP into the recycleing bin
11. you should now have task mgr back, and limewire should never pop up again, if it does just do this again.
