go to www.divx.com and download the free version of their software.

Once you install it your video should work in any player. The DivX decoder
works like a driver in your operating system and your players will be able to use it.

That's not unusual. Sometimes they download out of order and any player must
have the first part of the file before a preview is possible.

so when this has downloaded what doi need to do i was ment to say i do have nero on my comp

Do you want to make a disk? The best place for that info is www.videohelp.com

If you just want to watch the film it should just work now that you have DivX.

what i want to do is to be able to download a film then put it on to a dvd disk to be played in a dvd player
but once the film as downloaded have no idea what to do next the film is in avi
do have nero on my computer dont no if thats any good

Some versions of Nero can convert and burn a disk for you. It's pretty technical
stuff so go to Videohelp and you will find detailed instructions for Nero. If your
version doesn't have the ability you will find free software to do the job.
