Default lower key rather than slow

K - Thanks for the reply. I hadn't played any music on my PC for over a week (CD's that I had put on) and then downloaded Limewire - when I played back the music I thought that it had slowed down - after checking most of the songs on there it's not so much that the music has slowed down just that all the lyrics are being played in a lower key! I have restored the settings to before I downloaded Limewire and it is still playing the same so I don't think that is the problem - so I'm stumped! Not sure abot settings etc but can find out if need be.
Please help

Simple thing to do is check your hard drive isn't full delete old files and clean registry using something like tweek now or aso or simular application you can get these from download.com then when you have run a delete old files, registry scan and ran a spyware scan defrag your pc [look in start menu under system tools] if you have problems after that check how many mp'3 you have if you have a lot burn them to disc and delete them [but not from the shared folder] then do above again if this doesn't work try doing a virus scan if this doesn't work i have no idea what it is,Hope thats of some help?.

Thanks for the reply - the only thing is that I have only had the PC for a month and haven't downloaded anything else since I have had it - I have 100 songs on there from Cd's and that's it.
Will try everything that you have suggested and really appreciate you help.
Does anyone think that it may be a speaker fault?

Hx

Defrag/scan your computer. Windows NEEDS defragging at least once a month. What kind of sound system do you have? What IS your sound card and what multimedia player are you using? Have you tested your sound system recently? And hopefully, you didnt pickup a virus from Gnutella and that you got limewire from the official site.
