![]() I just purchased a new desktop & downloaded limewire. As I go through the installation process, it asks me which language I want, then my connection speed, then as I proceed I am brought to a screen with something about firewall & to allow limewire access if I am asked. This screen has no "next" or "finish" button & when moved there is a screen behind it saying "loading html". Can anyone please help me out, I would greatly appreciate it, i've tried just about everything i've read on this forum with people having similar problems. dan_pup |

![]() Remove all your Java versions using your control panel then install the Java 1.6 beta JRE "Offline" version which is a 15.72 MB download. Also delete your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Point #2 & 3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included at bottom of page.) But do the java install 1st, then the prefs deletion. |
