am trying to deinstall limewire

trying to dump limewire folder in my c drivew programs keeps refusing saying something is using the bits n peices

any one help me

How did you try to uninstall LW? If you did it through add/remove programs, this can cause problems.
The right way is via start > all programs > LW > uninstall.
You could try reinstalling LW (this should uninstall the old version automaticlly) & then uninstalling the correct way.

Can I just ask why you're uninstalling LW? Just because sometimes people end up with a virus, try to get rid of it by uninstalling LW & only end up with more problems. IF you were having trouble with LW opening at random all the time & refusing to stay closed, see point 4 below. There's a link to a good site (Norbiesworld) where free help is available!
