Please help me!!! LimeWire tries to open in Excell!!! I'm new to macs and i've just downloaded limewire. Instead of opening limewire as it should do, it trys to open it in office's excel. when i right click on the limewire logo to "open with" Excel is set to default. How do i change this and what do i open it as? Please help!! |

You would have been best looking thru the mac sections. These types of questions have all been asked & answered many times before which is why we have Stickies posted at the top of most sections giving links to the answers. "Don't use Explorer to download LW. Explorer is NOT 100% OSX compatible & cannot handle dmg files" What else would you expect from Micro$oft!!!!!!! Instead, go to your applications folder, find Safari & use that instead to downld dmg files such as LW. eg: mac sticky & look at no. 7 on list: Major Topics for OSX Installation Help (click on link) |
