A different solution is that you use a programme such as iTunes to play and list your music. You can create any number of playlists for yourself and your daughter, and ... in the unlikely event of you both likeing the same song, you can have it in two playlists at the same time iTunes is free of charge from Apple.com, and a sticky at the head of many of the forums explains in detail how to use it.
