quick question
 

i want 2 download limewire but my dad is paranoid about getting viruses & so on.
if i put limewire on my USB disk and download all the files i get onto my USB disk will the computer not get viruses.

I have two external USB hard disks and always download to them but I always take the necessary precaution of having an AV running on my PC. You see, it does not matter where a virus, trojan or whatever lands in your PC because if it gets a chance to run it will infect all of your PC, not just the disk it lands on.

Just remember this, no matter where a piece of malware runs from it will put itself into your PCs memory and infect everything it comes in to contact with from there.

true because i had limewire now for like 1 month now and before it gave me a lot of viruses because i did not know how to use limewire and check it with my av but noe when i donwload things or big files yea check to make sure and always keep ur av up to date it is very important but it can be a good to download all the music u want really
