 New to Limewire and having security problems! Everytime I try to open a file that I have downloaded there is and error message that says, Limewire cannot open due to security reasons. How do I fix the problem?  |

| Ummm...you're in the Phex forum. Maybe a mod could move this over to LW!! You can't open certain files ( zip, exe etc) within LW. If you want to open these, you'll have to do it outside of LW. Go to your library, click on Saved Files then click Explore...your saved folder will open & you can go from there. **Please be careful, many zip, exe & rar files are infected. Always scan your downloads with your AV before opening:wink: WARNING: Viruses on the network you should be aware of |
