Sound problems I've used Limewire before, but we had a problem with the harddrive and now everything is gone, so I downloaded basic again. The songs download fine, but when I click launch, I can't get any sound to come out. It also doesn't have the song title and artist at the bottom of the screen. My speakers are attached. What could be the problem? |

Are you using the LW player? Have you tried disabling LW's player & playing the music through another player? What about CD playback...does that work ok? If you want to keep using the LW player, try deleting LW's preferences when LW's closed. See points 2 & 3 below Fixes for LimeWire Deleting the folder will kill all of your options settings, you'll have to go back through & reset things afterwards:wink: |

Yeah Windows media player won't play either, and I can't get sound on anything else. The only thing that makes me think there's a problem with Limewire is that the song title and artist name aren't running across the bottom of the screen like they usually do |

I have no major problems and obviously lack the ability to figure out how to post an issue..so can you direct me on how to find suggestions for why some songs click and pause during playback? I have downloaded KODACHROME 20 times to listen hoping the pauses-clicks don't occur. I use different sources, speeds, etc. Any advice on how to post would be real;ly appreciated. Most songs are fine but I hate it that 2 or 3 aren't perfect. maybe that's the way it is???? |

Jennifer3366, Have a look in the thread below & see if it helps with your problem. Check out Grandpa's post:wink: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showthread.php?t=62474 Bichons9, Are you using the LW player? It's not very good, try disabling it (tools > options > player) & making something else your default player. Did you preview the songs during download? *To start a new thread, go to the front page of the forum section that you want to post in. In the top left corner, you'll see the "New Thread" button. Click on that & you can start a new thread. |

Thankyou.I use media player and mostly music match jukebox. I am not too smart when it comes to computers I guess. i am burning on my main computer after trying to burn for hours on my laptop... because apparently my laptop doesn't have a burner...duh. Also, now I am starting to wonder whether the cd burning is the problem because I don't hear the pauses/clicks as much while previewing..or maybe it's the cd itself..I am so sorry for bothering you. If cd burning is the issue then I give up...Thanks again. |
