Have you tried Google

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&l...rt&btnG=Search

You should be able to find something there, and if not then contact TDK support

BTW What has this got to do with "Getting started using Limewire"???

James

What you are asking for probably does not exist, because you have not given any details about your PC I will just make one assumption and that is you are using Windows XP.

Now XP will have all the necessary drivers pre-installed to get your CD drive working, i.e. playing CDs. If you want to burn (record) your own CDs you will have to buy additional software such as Nero V7.0, Roxio, etc. If you visit the web-sites of these well known software you will probably be able to download a full featured time-limited version of them.

I also understand that there may be free CD/DVD burning software out there but I personally cannot recommend any.

Hope this helps.

Actually UKBob

If he bought his burner seperate from the computer and then lost his installation CD, then you can't be sure that the driver is preinstalled.

I had a similar problem with a printer, where the above thing happened. Which I then found on the net using Google.

But regarding the info he gave you are so right. It's impossible to give any real help, except to point him towards TDK Support sites.
