 JRE is screwing me over I had to reinstall Limewire, and when I did it said that I already had JRE java installed and I had to uninstall for it to work. I tried that, it did'nt work, and I have tried every variation of deleting and reinstalling with both programs. I need help, any suggestions?   |

 Have you been using offline installers? Try this (sorry if you've already done it): Download the offline JRE installer. Remove your current Java version before installing the new one. http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp Reboot your computer. Now, reinstall LW but make sure to use the offline installer. No need to uninstall the old LW, installing a new version should do that automatically. http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml |
