Speed Up LimeWire Startup???
 

Can anyone tell me why lw startup is sooooo slow? Also, can anyone tell me how to speed it up? It really drives me nuts!!

LW is a poweful and hungry application. The first time you start it, with fresh shared files it can take an hour or so to load up fully if you have a couple of thousand files.

Ordinarily it does take some time to load, and there is nothing you can do to speed it up. I always switch on ..then make the coffee, then come back and it is loaded. See my signature lol :)
