Default New here.. need help with the basics

Hi. Here's my problem: I downloaded a song but instead of it downloading to my mp3 player, it went to my files on my computer. How do I download songs onto my mp3 player??? Thanks in advance.

You'll have to move songs from your saved folder to your player

Thanks for the reply. But for some reason when I go to 'My Computer', I don't see my mp3 player as a drive. It's just under 'Other Devices'. I'm not sure what I might be doing wrong.

Default Same Difference

Drive or device, it doesn't matter. As long as it shows up in My Computer that's the main thing!

Your player almost certainly came bundled with software on a CD; have you looked at that?

The drag & drop method suggested by Birdy should work fine, but in my experience you can lose some functionality using this method rather than the player's own software.

The songs will still play fine but you can only create playlists 'on the fly' (rather than importing them), you might not see the files' tags and you might find the music all in one directory rather than being viewable by artist or genre etc.

Regards.
