So you're not connected properly at all. That one bar means starting connection.
Can anybody else in the dorm connect to LW properly?

Unhappy

well...i talked to a few people, but none of them have tried to get LW...i tried to get kazaa too and i had the same thing happen to me. It seemed to install properly but when i search, nothing happens. I guess that means that i am not able to get a proper connection from the dorm. Thanks anyways for your help.

Its probaly a firewall. I have Norton too, and when I checked it on Norton's firewall list it didn't help. I eventually just turned Norton's firewall off and turned window's firewall on. It works fine for me now, hopefully that would do the trick for you too.

You should check with whoever's in charge of the dorm's internet service...ask them if p2p use is allowed. Then you'll know for sure.
