i am getting billed 10 dollars a month when I payed 24 dollars for a lifetime membership. I was informed that this was a one time fee and there were no other charges. if this is not true i want to cancel my subscription and be refunded all the money that was charged. if that does not happen then i expect a letter stating why i am not being refunded and what measures i can take to make sure that this does not happen again.

LW basic's free. Pro costs $18.88 USD & includes 6 months of free updates & email support. There is no lifetime membership.
The only official site for downloading either version is www.limewire.com

You should call your bank/CC company & report this ASAP.

Have a read through the 2 threads below. Page 5 of the first thread has a list of scam sites! The second thread has info about how some people have been able to get refunds from scammers.
