.exe files A newcomer to LimeWire, and a very impressed newcomer at that, I am concerned that searches for movies frequently show a download available as an .exe file, usually 228Kb. Would I be right in assuming that this would allow me to download a movie direct from somebody, presumably faster than the normal download method, and is it safe to do so? Obviously I have read the many warnings regarding the download of executable files on P2P networks. Thanks in anticipation to you guys that know more than us newbies. |
