ok i have norton inter security and norton anti virus but i do not have a security center icon in my control panel on my computer so i dont have have a windows firewall just the norton internet security well my norton internet security person wall is off but is still showing that im behind a firewall please help

1. Sometimes the XP firewall control panel is difficult to find depending on your set up. See about the 2 ways of finding it & disabling it here http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...842#post178842 & oh also this link http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...620#post178620

2. After disabling XP's firewall, be sure you configure Norton firewall to allow LW full access. See Configuring Norton Internet Security

It is P2P traffic Shapping (PTS for shortenning), PTS limits the speed of P2P traffic, and make P2P proggies to look like they were firewalled, the only solution available for this is to talk to your ISP, or, the only solution i've seen WITH-IN a P2P proggie is in Azureus, by encrypting the traffic as a normal HTTP download, but it limits the number of sources you get for a file (other traffic-encrypted clients), and it does'nt work all times...
