Default trying to get the searches to bring up itunes not windows media player



hi

says it all in the title i suppose....

i have been using the basic version of limewire for some time. I came on today to get myself some new sounds and instead of loads of itunes stuff coming up it was all windows media player!!

i hate being picky but i really dont like using the windows player and cant figure out how i can and if i can sort this out.

I had the same problem yesterday, but the other way round. All downloads went to iTunes and I wanted to default to Windows Media Player.
Right click on one tune and select Properties. Then select "Opens With iTunes and all the tunes will change to iTunes.
As I say, it worked for me yesterday

hi thanks for the reply. it all seems to be running properly now. i can only assume one of my pesky children has been fiddling with it!! now to figure out if they fixed it for me or if it was them that broke it in the first place!!!
