Default LW to iTunes-followed instructions, still need help

I've followed the instructions from the other posts and sticky notes. My problem is after moving my folder/files to iTunes none of my songs appear in iTunes. On one try my songs went into a folder named recently added but I can't seem to get that anymore. The recently added folder is not even there anymore (could have accidently deleted it?) I'm using windows xp.

Thanks for any help. Been trying this for DAYS! At one point my folders I created in iTunes duplicated.

Try this....
Go to your shared folder (outside of Limewire) you will find this folder by clicking on one of your files in your LW library and clicking explore...

You will now have your shared folder in front of you...
Open up itunes > select new playlist and drag and drop your files in one by one...

Default I feel like I'm still missing a step

I clicked on my shared folder in Limewire, I clicked the Explore button and all my songs appeared in a shared folder outside of Limewire.

I then opened iTunes and selected a new playlist. It created a new folder.

But my songs are still in the shared folder on my system. I can't drag them into my playlist in iTunes because they are still in the shared folder outside of iTunes. . . . .

FINALLY!!!!!!!!! It worked.

For anyone else . . . . With iTunes open, click File/Add to File/Folder or Library, find the folder your songs are in and drag them over across the screen to an iTunes folder.

I did not realize you could drag things from an open dialog box to another program.

Thanks wondering why!
