LimeWirre won't open
 

Limewire suddenly quit opening for me. When I double click the icon, the first box (window) opens, sits there passive for a few seconds and goes away. I've uninstalled and re installed from a disc and then from the download site. Nothing helps. All ideas, suggestions, hints welcome. thanks

Try uninstalling your Java from the add/remove programs and then re-install the JRE offline version....(4th one down)

Then uninstall Limewire using the uninstaller which is found in start > all programs > limewire...then re-install it using the offline installer...

If that does not help with your problem try deleting your preference folder...
