No, nero 6 doesn't have the option to "burn your own dvd" ... you can burn with it, but it has a decoder already in it so you can skip that step... you can upgrade through the nero 7 website... but you have to pay for it... or you can download the it free for 30 days or something... from nero.com

I already have Nero 7 but I'm stil trying to drag myself into the 20th century let alone the 21st.
