![]() Have only just registered and will probably find answers elsewhere in other threads but was wondering why on a broadband capable of 2MBps up and download, anything up or down with Limewire sits on 2 or 3 kbps. Anyhow have found some great music here although taking half an hour or so to download, I note lots of my old and different music is in big demand, pity they have to wait so long to upload and often give up. Now I'll go read the forum and find out what I am doing wrong |

![]() Hello Davieu You're probably not doing anything wrong, but if curious, test your download speeds against a known reliable server, like the files you can get from + MagnetMix.com +: The Source for Good Content If those are slow, then check with your ISP if they have the same problems. Chances are they limit downloads from the gnutella network. cheers |

![]() Thanks for that, seems the chocking is going on somewhere on the net, I have had a few very fast downloads and uploads with Limewire but rarely. I just feel sorry for those uploading sometimes at 2 or 3 kbs as my oldie library seems to be very popular. my speedtests elsewhere put me in the top 90% worldwise. |
