 i've tryed the fixes and im not going to delete norton its the only firewall i have my friends use norton and there limewire is fine is there anything else you could suggest?  |

| Windows XP has a firewall, too. Have you turned this off? You shouldn't have two firewalls running, anyway, since they can interfere with each other. Besides that, I don't think I can make any more suggestions. I'm not the greatest help with connection problems.  Good Luck  Dan |

| PinkRachael turn your MS firewall off uninstall LW, Reboot and, making sure your firewall is off (MS) install LW, Once installed, make sure you have more than 1 bar showing. If not, select file, connect. Guaranteed, it will be the FIrewall, I had Norton and had to unistall, I installed, PC Tools free firewall as well as the MS Vista and mines works fine. You may have to unistall the Norton, but try the info I gave first and unistall as a last resort. |
