Windows XP has a firewall, too. Have you turned this off? You shouldn't have two firewalls running, anyway, since they can interfere with each other. Besides that, I don't think I can make any more suggestions. I'm not the greatest help with connection problems.

Good Luck

Dan

turn your MS firewall off uninstall LW, Reboot and, making sure your firewall is off (MS) install LW, Once installed, make sure you have more than 1 bar showing. If not, select file, connect.
Guaranteed, it will be the FIrewall, I had Norton and had to unistall, I installed, PC Tools free firewall as well as the MS Vista and mines works fine. You may have to unistall the Norton, but try the info I gave first and unistall as a last resort.
