Default Help (installing limewire)

I'm trying to download Limewire, but every time I go on to the download thing on my desktop, I click Install, and it says this :You do not have sufficient privalleges to install Limewire. Please restart the installation as an administrator or power user. The thing is, my mom already downloaded it on the administrator. What do I do?

Hey lumos, you said in your first post that your mom d/l as admin. but the 1st thing you said was that you were trying to d/l Limewire, so which one is it? Sounds like you better talk to mom because if you are another user only the admin has access, afaik. If Im incorrect on this someone please interject. Hope this helps

I believe I saw a recommendation by 6pac recently that said you should download and install the program separately on your user account.

You don't have to d/load it seperately, just install it on each account from the exe file. It sounds like your account is restricted and you'll need the admin to install it on your account.

Here's a couple threads you might fin d useful:

Your mom may have to change your windows status to admin., install the software, then change your status back.
