Default LW start up problem

when i start up limewire it goes through the process all the way, then the icon goes into taskbar. and nothing happens. then when i put mouse indicator over icon in taskbar it just disappears and nothing happens. ctrl,alt & del and no processes are running. have current version of java and us zone alarm security
any help would be appreciated as have no hair left from trying to get it to work

If you are running Java 6.1 uninstall it from the add/remove programs and then re-install the JRE 5.11 offline version....(4th one down)
Java SE Downloads - Previous Release - JDK 5

If that doesn't help try deleting your preference folder..
Fixes for Limewire when LW isn't operating as it should

Still no luck ??

thanks for our help wondering why. uninstalled java 6. already had java 5.11 adn it works now.
