novice questions( i think )-(meaning of WMA)

what does the format wma mean ? how is it different than an mp3 file ? can i download a wma file and burn it to a cd ?

wma = windows media application. yes you can burn wma to a cd, but, the quality is not as good as an mp3.

Wow. You can learn something new everyday! Thanx Dano!

raiderone,
Be careful downloading .wma files from limewire. Most are full of viruses or corrupt files.

to darthpat and dano

thanks for the info on wma files. i will probably stay away and not download them and just stick to mp3 files. i've had pretty good luck with mp3 file downloads and burn to cd's.
