hello everyone, im anthony from scotland. i downloaded Lime Wire today, and i need some help.

I dont know if i should download the things that have the stars next to them, or if i should only download the things with the padlock in the quality bar.

is it ok to download the things with the stars in the quality column? or should i only download the things with the padlock in the quality column?

any help appreciated!

The padlocks only apply to Limewire updates. Don't download any LW updates unless they have a padlock next to them.

Its a good idea to scan all files downloaded from lime wire. None of them are guaranteed to be virus free. the # symbol indicates the number of connected users sharing the file.

With your virus scanning software. If you don't have one, you should get one asap. Here's one called AVG. It's free, but, has limited features. AVG Free Advisor: Installation files & documentation

I have McAfee security centre, is this good?

Yes McAfee works great. Have a look around at some of the other forums. I've found tons of useful info here since I joined.
