Talking firewall
okay, I downloaded limewire and its saying i cannot open it because I have a firewall blocking its access to the internet. how do I turn off the firewall? please help soon !

I wouldn't actually disable the firewall if I were you.
Provide some details please... Hardware or Software firewall is a great start?
