Limewire program won't open

I was using Limewire for a few months without a hitch. Then, it started to not open. I would click on the the icon, the logo would flash and then nothing. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the program numerous times with the same result. My firewall is allowed to accept. Any thoughts?

Have you tried going into the Limewire folder and clicking on the 'Limewire executable jar file'? :)
