Will someone tell me is it true that if You Install Limewire it will give your computer viruses??? If so Why? Is it safe? Please awnser my questions and it will be greatly appreciated.

You can download LW safely from Lime Wire » Official Website & Free Download «. There are no viruses in the program itself.

With LW, you are connected directly to other users' computers. Whatever they choose to share, you can download. Sooo, if they choose to share infected files, then you may become infected. If you're careful about what you download and stick with music and video files, you should be okay. Downloading programs is where most people get infected. You should have an antivirus program running just to be safe.

The infected files are usually something copyrighted. They are put there to discourage people from downloading copyrighted material. Read the stickies at the top of all of the subforums here. They have tons of useful information and will help you greatly.
