I'm new and don't have a clue of what this actually is and how to use it.

I am also new here, and I thought that through limewire, I would be able to download movies, but I can't figure out how to do that, and the FAQ and user guide don't explain step by step what to do. Where are the movies to download? thanks. Goldenk

i know how to use LW, but for some reason it doesn`t recognize the mouse... using LW with the keyboard is a pain in the neck!

Limewire is a peer to peer (P2P) application, which means you share files with millons of other P2P PC users like yourself. That means that you can only download what other P2P users are willing to share. This also means that no one can promise you when and if a film or film clip will be available.

And you know, that's what makes using the P2P network so exciting and fustrating, all rolled into one, you just never know what you will find. However, you got to watch out for viruses, Trojans and all manner of malware hidden in booby trapped files.

Finally, just remember the P2P network is not centrally controlled (no server) and is not safe, if you want a controlled and safe environment to download from then stick to known sources like Amazon.com.
