Go to Control Panel, double click Folder Options. Now click the View tab...put a dot in the circle next to 'show hidden files & folders' > Apply > ok.

omg thx so much ha i wouldve never found that. ill try it out now

okay maybe not. i figured out how to show the hidden files and i searched but there are only two "Documents and Settings" files and neither are folders one is "Limewire 4.12.15" and the other is "uninstall" the only folder out of all of these is a LimeWire folder that is labeled as Program Files not Documents and Settings, root - program files, and .NetworkShare - program files. So should i delete one of the Documents and Settings files or is this just not the way to go

okay whoa i just found an 'error' that has been occuring every time i try to open limewire but not popping up on the screen it was actually stored inside the LimeWire folder

Some people have had problems with Java 1.6.0_01. Try this version instead. Use the JRE offline installer & remove your current Java version (via Add/Remove Programs) before you install this one.
