No Music, HELP!!!!!
 

I need help!!!

Earlier I went to search up some music, but to my surprise instead of files popping up in bunches, none popped up at all! So, I tried a few different things hoping it would fix my problem but no such luck. So eventually I downloaded Limewire 4.12.15 but still I am unable to get any music ready for downloading.

I just updated limewire and java but when I go to download music I get the waiting to connect box up. Here is the info I have: Unfortunatley not all ? are answered:
1-windows xp
2-windows firewall(limewire ok)
5-cable hookup
7-house
8-4.12.15 1.6.0_02
9-telus
10 your test worked
11-no
12-had lime wire b4 but does not work now.
13-yes
15-avg
16-canada

like I said I just updated now it does not work. I just had itunes hooked up thought that was prob but deleted it from computer re installed limewire but not working still. Any help would be great. thks

Are you connected properly (how many green connection bars do you see)?
If your connection is ok, try this: Problems with the search

And if that's no help, delete LW's preferences folder when LW's properly closed. See point 3 here & also point 2 if you've used older versions of LW in the past (there could be a folder in either location).

This will kill all of your settings within options, you'll have to go back through afterwards & reset things.
