Default Just New To The Forum

Hi;

My name is Sylmac, and I hope to enjoy all this forum has to offer. I do have a question.

I have been a 360Pro user for about a year with no problems, until about a month ago, when the program would not open. I reinstalled Java Runtime, and everything seemed Ok until now. No matter what I try it still will not open. I have searched all of the threads, and have done all that has been recommended, but still no luck. Being over the six month limit I can not download a new program, and start over.

I use a Dell Dimension 9200 with XPS2, and 2 meg. of Ram.
Use McAfee Anti Virus.
Use Zone Alarm Pro.
Have High Speed Internet.

All of the above are set to allow 360Pro to run.

At this point I am at a loss to figure out what to do next.

Can anyone offer any suggestions?

sylmac.

360Pro is a scam version of limewire, so we cannot comment on it as we don't know what they have added to it ot taken from it...
In my opinion you would be better off to uninstall it and get the official version of limewire...
Click on the badge in my sig, that will take you to the official limewire site...

Default 360Pro Versus Limewire

Thanks for responding Wondering Why;

When I first downloaded the program I thought I was getting the real Limewire. The program did work for about a year, then I started having problems. I downloaded the "Real" Limewire Basic to start with, and it works fine, then I was able to get into the 360Pro Site, and download that program again. I installed it, and it literally "Hijacked" Limwire in the registry. I had to manually delete all of the entries, and reinstall Limwire again. I will be upgrading to the Pro version. Thank you for the info, and I am really glad that I joined the forum.
