![]() Details: Operating Sysetm-Vista Premium Edition Firewall-Norton Internet Security 2007 Ram-1 Gig Available Hard Disk-208 Gig Connection-Cable Router-Linksys 150n Wireless-N Modem-Motorola Connect From House Limewire 4.14 Java 1.6 ISP-Comcast Cable Test is successful Computer is on Home Network with one other desktop and a Tivo System United States Now my simple problem... Limewire was working fine and I was able to download. Having no problems with connecting, firewall configured and ports also. I downloaded some files that weren't what they said. When I clicked on a file I started to have buffer Overflows and my programs failed. I noticed it was only attached to media files and applications, root file of dll32. To eliminate this I deleted the shared folder that had all the dowloaded files. This fixed the overflows. When I restarted Limewire it stops at the load screen with 12% Html engine. No prompts, no progress. I uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. UAC is not prompting me for any replies and I can get nothing to happen. Anyone familiar with this. I tried looking through the forums but most threads are about firewalls and lack of connection. There are thousands of pages so if this has been addressed I did not get to that page. Task manager does not show the program as running but the reinstall said a previous version was running. Any help would be swell! Last edited by shawn385; August 13th, 2007 at 08:06 PM.
