Hi Pally

The first thing I would say is that you need more memory in your computer, you have a powerful machine with a small amount of memory (256MB) you should have at least 1GB but more likely 2GB. And as your needs grow in the future you could move up to the full 4GB, which your machine capable of using.

You have not given any details about your ISP or modem setup, without these bits of information there is not a lot I or anybody else can do.

Therfore, get back to us with your internet and modem details, you may need to ask for help if this information is difficult for you to find and/or understand.

Hey bob, the ISP is Charter and I have broadband..But I think u are more right about the memory. Would dealeating some favorites or music downlaods help any???..pally

I was looking on the limewire window and I noticed a tap I hadent seen till now It says direct connect then says I'm behind the fire wall or router and can not receive direct connection. Does this help any???..pally
