Default Starting Up Limewire

I can't get limewire to start on my computer. I download it off the internet, and then an application appears on my computer saying to click if I want to download it, and that runs, and says it's complete, and then nothing. i don't know how to access limewire from there. nothing appears, and if i click on the limewire icon on the desktop, it just asks me to click to download it, and it never seems to actually be installed on my computer. Ideas? oh and i'm using a mac

sounds like you have installed it, but keep on clicking on the installer icon..there should be another one which is the shortcut for the now installed program...

I'm not familiar with Mac's but there should also be an application listing for it where it can also be started up
