Codecs

Hi all

Can anyone help.

I hve downloaded some video files but cant seem to play them. I know this is something to do with codecs, but how do I find them?

I could be doing with some help on this too.I have the pictures with no sound.How do I know which codec to download and where is the best place to get it?

Try installing the VLC media player, it has all the codecs pre-installed and can play just about all files...

Get one of these pacs also...

For XP this codec pac is very good
Download XP Codec Pack 2.0.8 - XP Codec Pack is one of the most complete codec pack

Or for Vista this pac
Vista Codec Package v4.4.7 Beta 4a (freeware)
