![]() I have used Limewire before, but I haven't used any P2P program in a while and I just re-installed limewire. It will connect, but searching never comes up with any files. I am running it on Windows XP, through 3M DSL and a D-Link router. I read somewhere that I need to configure limewire and my router to run through the same port, but I have no idea how. ![]() I finally got connection problem FIXED with LimewirePro.I was giving connection starting and it stayed there.I have broadband ISP.Also Windows Vista. I have Windows Live Care firewall. I opened my firewall and added Gnutella port 6346.for local and internet. Checked Limewire for its ports, made sure 6346 wasn't their port, I used 14473. All worked before the new version 4.14 was installed. I have turbo connection now. I hope this helps some of you. I set my router for limewire only to that port... |
