Downloaded avi file and only hear sound

i just downloaded my first video, an avi file.

when playing it i can only hear the sound of the film. there's no picture.

does anyone know what i did wrong?

It's probably a codec problem. See link below. Has a lot of great info.

Also might take a look at VLC Media Player, has codec built in, and will play most anything.

And lastly, ALWAYS use Bitzi when searching for Video Files.
